Alphabet book // a b se det

Editorial
a b se det has a slightly different approach to teaching the alphabet to children. The visual concept revolves around the optical illusion anamorphosis, which invites the observer to participate in revealing the hidden picture.

a b se det is in norwegian and means “a b see that”. The book contains the norwegian alphabets 29 letters and is an introduction to the alphabet. Each letter is has its own persona, visualized by an animal character. To see the animals in a normal perspective you have to use a cylindrical mirror. The “magical” mirror comes with the book.

The book appeals to children's natural curiosity, eagerness to learn and combines playtime with education.

The book was made in collaboration with two kindergardens in Oslo.
