A Patch of Peonies
Today’s submission was inspired by Wonderbox’s peony design. I was inspired to take the simplistic peony shape and create a collage of flowers. By layering the flowers and leaves and varying the sizes, the artwork lends itself to peering down upon a field of peonies in full bloom in the summertime.
The artwork was created using Procreate’s watercolor brushes as well as blend modes, the smudge tool and shading to provide depth and texture to the design.
