eco+cell Packaging
OPPORTUNITY
Packaging can make or break a product. The objective for eco+cell was to make a more appealing and functional package for batteries.
SOLUTION
The current packaging for batteries is unattractive and in most cases difficult to open. To remedy this, I went for a design that was extremely similar to the way sodas are packaged in fridge packs. When you pick one out, the next battery will roll forward, ready to be used.
eco+cell’s packaging is also environmentally friendly. It’s made from 100% recycled paperboard, and a two color ink process makes it cheaper to produce.
Each package contains 16 batteries, and comes with a perforated section that you can punch out when ready.
