Recluse is a multimedia sculpture that utilizes audio and video media to augment the reality of the presentation. The media can be easily changed to create alternative artistic visions. Recluse addresses reality & alternate reality, dreams, memories, sensory deprivation & depersonalization, isolation, anxiety, and life & death.

Recluse's media is composed of 250 computer read quotations taken from literature and philosophical writings concerning the topics Recluse addresses. There are 55 videos with only a tone for audio to allow an artistic pause in the performance. The media plays randomly selected segments outputted individuality from 54 minutes of total animated graphics and audio recordings. No performance is the same.
