BFA Intaglio Prints

Printmaking portion of the body of work developed for my senior Bachelor of Fine Arts Thesis exhibition.
These prints were inspired by the signs of age that accumulate on objects, specifically image based matter (found photographs). I enjoy the indexicality of the scratches and fingerprints that show the object's durational existence and past ownership. Here, I use intaglio processes to focus on how the plate as an object, records residue of its temporality.
