Textile Design Toxic Waste

These three textile designs were inspired by pollution and toxic waste. After a lot of research on the subject, I was able to narrow it down to three types of pollution that became my true and obvious inspiration: (air pollution) smoke stacks, water pollution, and oil cans. I very much enjoy picking a subject  for inspiration that is typically viewed as "ugly" and making it beautiful through art, design, and technology.
The designs were first drawn by hand, rendered on Adobe Photoshop, and nested into three color ways. The prints were then incorporated in a hand drawn, Photoshop rendered illustration as seen below.
