For this project we had to research a fashion designer and come up with a concept based off their ideas or designs. Rei Kawakubo uses a lot of what she calls "lumpy bumpys" in her pieces. She uses a monochrome color palette usually consisting of red, white or black. I wanted to incorporate her idea of lumps and bumps and powerful colors into my design since it was such a prominent statement with in her work.
