For my first concentration I decided to make a comic book cover of Dr Dox, a super villain I made up. In this it shows him in a room with a screaming patient who he is about to inject with venom.

 

I used colored pencil for mostly everything except the dots and outline. The backround is also pastel. I wanted to give the piece a vintage feel to it so I put white dots all over it so that it would look grainy. I used the black sharpie to outline everything so that it would show boundaries and have hard edges like comics. I used a cream color for the borders and title line so that it looked old and fit the work better. The pastel blue background was sprayed so that it wouldn’t be smudged anymore.
