Fontstand App design for iPhone
Project Brief/Background:
The brief of the project was to make a UI for an existing application for an alternate screen. The application or software could be on any platform and the output was to be in the form of wireframes and a user interaction map of the resultant application.
Project Goals:
I decided to design the application Fontstand's UI for an iPhone (iOS 13). Fontstand is an app for macOS X and Windows that allows you to try fonts for free or rent them by the month for desktop and web use for just a fraction of the regular price. This application is really helpful for graphic designers and graphic design students alike. I chose to work with this application as it encourages designers and students to experiment with typefaces and has a brilliant showcase of typefaces from famous type foundries from over the world.
