64 coffee cups and saucers make up this chess board. Black cups of coffee alternate with ones filled with milk making up the “playing field.”
Gold and silver spoon sets represent the chess pieces – a King, a Queen, two Bishops, two Knights, two Rooks and eight Pawns. The gold spoons are decorated with pink beads and the silver ones with blue.
A gold spoon set faces off against a silver set as the playing pieces. One plays the game by putting spoons into cups and moving them from cup to cup.
