Furniture Design
Público is a company dedicated to creating co-working spaces with great design value located in key points of Mexico City. Industrial is Público's design studio and is in charge of the design and production of the office furniture as well as the interiors of each building.
For Zona Maco Art and Design Fair 2017, we designed a space reserved for exhibitors that offered the Público working experience.
As part of the office furniture collection for San Miguel Chapultepec Público building located in Múzquiz 15 St. I designed a modular bench aimed for working, making calls and resting. This piece was exhibited as part of the furniture selected for the Zona Maco Exhibitors Lounge 2017.
Its modularity consists of how the part is assembled, considering it is a structure that measures 3.60 m long, the piece had to be separated in three different modules while considering ironworks, carpentry and upholstery.
The furniture holds electrical connections inside the inferior shelves. As well as surfaces that work as side tables and slots to place objects such as books or magazines.
This piece corresponds to a large collection of furniture designed under the same aesthetics by Industrial by Público Design Studio. The same building systems were applied to fulfill the needs of seating in different workspaces.
