This first piece is called The Lunar Hornet Moth.  Its is digitally printed silk crepe back satin, bias cut, with complementary bias binding trim.
The second story in this collection is called The Ruby Tiger.  The cropped camisole is digitally printed silk crepe back satin, with hand embroidery and complementary bias binding trim.  The shorties are double layer silk georgette, edged with a machine scallop and digitally designed Multihead head lace.  They feature the same bias binding as the camisole, and a button covered in the digital print, to create a cohesive ensemble.
The third story is called the Sallow Kitten.  The top is also digitally printed crepe de chine with complementary bias binding trim.  The shorties are lined silk chiffon, whcih feature lace that I created on a Multihead embroidery machine, on hand-dyed gauze.  It was then pieced together by hand, and hand beaded.  They also featured transfer printed co-ordinating binding, and the button is embroidered with a tiny fly.  Both garments are cut on the bias for a flattering drape.
This story is called the Fox Moth.  It is digitally printed silk chiffon cut on the bias, with co-ordinating transfer printed bias binding and a flounced 'lettuce' edge.
The final story in the Charming Underthings collection is called The Lousy Watchman.  This story features digitally printed silk crepe back satin beetle pattern shorties, which feature an embroidered feature button, and two silk chiffon covered buttons.  They also feature a contrasting daffodil trim.  The cropped camisole is made from double layer of silk chiffon cut on the bias.  It is trimmed with yellow insect motif lace which I created on the multihead, and then hand beaded.  The edges are 'lettuce' edged.
