Mi Querido México
México es mucho más que color, es cultura, historia, arquitectura, tradición, naturaleza, infraestructura, diseño y artesanía. Es por ese motivo que decidí usarlo como inspiración para desarrollar una colección de patrones. En esta se hace un recorrido que comienza por el arte, el oficio y la magia que construyen a San Miguel de Allende; continua por el contraste que se encuentra entre la arquitectura moderna y la naturaleza de colores de Ciudad de México; y termina en la tradición, la arqueología y la iconografía que narran la historia de los Mayas que habitaron la ciudad de Chiapas.
Mexico is much more than colour, it is culture, history, architecture, tradition, nature, infrastructure, design and crafts. For this reason, I decided to use it as an inspiration to develop a collection of patterns. This is a journey that begins with the art, the trade and the magic that build San Miguel de Allende; Continued by the contrast found between modern architecture and the colorful nature of Mexico City; and ends with the tradition, archeology and iconography that tell the story of the Mayans who inhabited the city of Chiapas.
