Superhero bagels is a Deliveroo takeaway bagel store based in Tappers cafe in Southport, UK. 

The client wanted a brand that had a nod to the classic comic books of the past, but not so much that it became cheesy, or trying too hard.

 

I came up with a lightning icon that combined both the ‘S’ and the ‘B’ to create an emblem that you might find across a hero’s chest. There is a version of the logo both with and without the bagel shape that frames the type, which has a subtle roughness to it.

The colour palette is bold and bright and punchy, and each bagel name on the menu has been designed as if it is it’s own character name.
