Lean is a start-up from Bangalore, India, that aims at bringing healthy and low-calorie food to the urban millennial without compromising on taste. Lean is positioned as a premium brand and enters the market with low-calorie ice cream.
 
I designed the logo and packaging for their primary product. The brief was to emphasize the brand's premium quality and highlight the health benefits of their ice cream. We accomplished this using bold typography and modern minimalist design, creating packaging that intrigues consumers into picking up the product.

We trimmed excess information from the packaging and communicated what is essential to the consumer; product description, flavor, and health benefits. The health benefits are featured prominently. Since the average consumer is not aware of typical calorie counts, we included a simple comparison with common Indian food showing how lean Lean truly is.
