Pickle Container
Brief:
To design a pickle container keeping in mind the space constraints for middle income group of Indian Gujarati household.
Problem areas in recently available pickle containers:
· Materials like steel, melamine are not appropriate for pickle.
· Not comfortable in washing.
· Not comfortable in taking out the pickles.
· It easily comes into the contact of dust.
· Form doesn’t have appropriate depth.
· No space for spoon.
Area of application:
-Dining table
After dinner or lunch,
- dining table
- platform of the kitchen
- in racks
I have observed that people of middle income group are bound by spaces. They have very limited space for everything. So to come with such a form that has freedom, flexibility to take its form as per the space requirements and that fits into the kitchen shelves, dining table or cupboard in the kitchen.
