'Red Square' Russian Chocolate Packaging

'Red Square' is Russian milk chocolate made with real fruits and vodka.

To display the chocolates origin and to make it visually stand apart from other brands, the packaging graphics uses the aesthetics of constructivist design.

The different flavors are showcased by a clear bold strip of the related fruit skin or alcohol.

The unique shape of the packaging serves both, the constructivist aesthetic and the functional purpose of making it self standing, when opened.

The graphic aesthetic and the functional packaging are explained below...
Banana flavor - with Banana peel center strip
Orange flavor - with Orange peel center strip
Vodka flavor - with liquid vodka center strip
Apple flavor - with Apple peel center strip
Back panel - with ingredients, nutrition label, barcode and brand story
The shape of the packaging allows it to be self-standing while the chocolate is being eaten
How the packaging functions
Lift tab and peel along the center zig-zag line to open the packaging
'Break' open the packaging
If the chocoloate is not eaten in one sitting, the strip peeled away to open the chocolate from the center can be used to 'close' the packaging for later use
Embossed elements in detail
Typography created for the packaging
The dieline
Option made with straight edges and an image (Russian landmark) on the back
