NEON BANDITS
Neon Bandits is a vibrant custom sock company. They design high quality socks that you can wear all day long from work to working out.
One of the reasons their socks are high quality is because they use a knit-in method for their graphics. Instead of printing directly onto the sock, which makes the colors fade away quickly, they individually dye the yarns the desired color and then knit the different yarns into the sock. This makes the color last longer and the design more durable. As a designer, the difficulty within this is producing designs that are unique and bold but can still translate well onto a sock and not lose integrity when the designs are physically knit in. On top of this, I have to make sure that every design I make is repeatable and will be cohesive if wrapped around the sock (sometimes multiple times).
