FordPass is a global application that allows many additional functions and information on the vehicle, such as vehicle control, vehicle details, maintenance booking, etc. It's almost comparable to the reduced owner's manual, but more interactive.
I worked closely with PO, strategist and developers to design some features of this APP in the Chinese market. Cabin Air Quality is one of them.
Background of FordPass Cabin Air Quality
Chinese users are becoming more aware of air pollution, and the needs for air purification extends from home to travel scenarios. Ford launches a cabin air filter for car owners to install in car, which gives drivers and passengers the following benefits:
1. It improves your driving comfort by reducing particle concentration.
2. It improves the interior compartment cleanliness.
3. It protects the climate control components from particle deposits.

At the same time, FordPass also adds the function of cabin air quality, so that car owners can check the air quality inside and outside the car in real time, as well as the use of the filter element.
