Love is not a crime

Taking A Stand

Together with Scoop Models, Won Hundred and Amnesty International we launched a t-shirt design to create awareness about the torture of gay men in Chechnya. For many months, the government in Chechnya had imprisoned gay men in concentration camps in order to spread fear and gain information about the gay community.

Time's of the essence

In this fast and focused project all participants concentrated on creating a universal network where love could flow freely between all sexes (and no-sex), cultures, ages and political points of views.
The campaign had to be released as soon as possible in order to maximise coverage and momentum.
Social Impact

Copenhagen Pride is Denmark’s largest annual Human Rights festival, focused on LGBT issues. It involves the entire capital Copenhagen and is held in August. It’s a truly colourful and festive occasion, and combines political issues with concerts, films and, of course, a parade. The focal point is the City Hall Square in the city centre. In 2017, some 25,000 people took part in the parade with floats and flags, and more than 300,000 people were out in the streets to experience it. We were proud to see our campaign organically integrate with this event.

“Abuse of homosexuals is occurring in many places around the world, but in Chechnya, we can see that it is a targeted hunt with its only purpose to attack all homosexual men. That is why it is crucial that Denmark and other countries not only put pressure on Russia and Chechnya, but also offer help to the desperate men in severe danger”,

Helle Jacobsen, Campaign Director at Amnesty International.
