Deforestation is a big issue in the world right now. Besides the big perks of having trees (such as creating oxygen so we can breathe), they are also homes to many animals. The rights of animals always takes the backseat to humans these days & I don’t think that is fair at all. Therefore, I created this motion piece for the World Wildlife Fund (in theory) using a childish / playful style to draw the user in, then slapping a more pressing topic on them towards the end. My aim was to make a viewer that wouldn’t typically care about this issue be drawn in unknowingly & hopefully impacting them enough to at least think about the issue 30 minutes from now.
