Breathe out
Meditative notebook
Forgetting to breathe sounds impossible, but it happens. Forgetting to breathe is a bridge between anxiety and a panic attack. Concentration on inhales and exhales helps us to be in a moment, right now and right here. You can feel the air going through your nostrils while inhaling. You can hold your breath for a moment, and then let this warmed-in-your-lungs air go. It helps to feel some control of the situation happening around you: at least you can still breathe, and it’s good news, isn’t it?

Sometimes it’s hard to watch your breath: too many thoughts, too much anxiety, so the notebook as a physical object can help overload the tactile channel of the perception, helping to reduce the unsettling energy. Bubble wrap is used instead of the heading because bubble wrap itself is packed air. Also, some actions need to be done by a user side (like turning the pages or writing in it), and this might help to ground.
