In order to touch the hearts of grumpy New Yorkers on a rainy day, I hand-lettered the lyrics of Mary Poppins' A Spoonful of Sugar onto an umbrella- I then dressed up as Mary Poppins herself and escorted umbrella-less New Yorkers across the street on a rainy day. I even gave out chocolate-dipped spoons as a souvenir. Needless to say, it was one of the craziest things I've done in this city so far (and still, there were lots of passers by who didn't flinch)
