Lontar leafs natural fiber can be an industrial material because it has good flexibility and durability as well as abundant.
The use of composites is widely applied on terms of the transportation industry with hybrid laminated composite types and in the present era is often found on the manufacture of skateboard or longboard deck by applying sandwich core material techniques to reduce board weight.
The use of longboards at this time is a means of short-distance transportation in urban areas with the addition of an electric motor that make a new product namely the Light Vehicle Electric Longboard.
