You'll Get Better.

"You'll Get Better." was a school project done during a module called Tactile Design, whereby we are to come up with a tactile solution according to the brief given. This is my solution to the brief, "Time" which has to be done by silkscreen; I have decided to manipulate cheese into my work.

The character designed by me is a wheel of cheese, using its hands as a measurement of time, just like a clock.

Most cheese actually taste better after a certain period of aging, and I have decided to apply this process as a metaphor of life. "You'll get better" is meant to be an inspiration to people out there, that no matter what kind of mistakes we have made in life, most importantly, we should learn from them, and age to be better.
Silkscreen with the design.
A thin layer of silkscreen ink was painted on plywood.
Finished product; silkscreen on plywood (297mm x 420mm).
