Kellermann
The project deals with the different aspects of the corporate design for a publishing house. I chose to focus on the Kellermann publishing house, situated in Veneto (Italy).
After an accurate study and a few conversations with the president and editor of the Kellermann publishing house, I started a re-design process. I took care of every aspect and media that will express the identity, balancing a modern graphic aesthetic with the original core values of the publisher. The redesign of the corporate identity includes also a complete redesign of the advertisement material, like posters and merchandise, and a proposal for a web site.
The Kellermann publishing house is an independent publishing house, founded in 1991. Since the very begging, Kellermann establishes a strong connection and conversation with the territory not only through workshops and collaborations with the local writers but embed the tradition, the culture and the Veneto’s history in its own identity. In my design,
I decided to emphasize this connection and create a dynamic logo, composed by the name of the house and a pictogram. I created seven different variations of the logo: each stands for a specific collection and tells the story of a historical event, value, and tradition of the territory.

The redesign includes also a book collection, for what I designed the concept, book cover, and layout. The collection I redesigned is the “esordienti”,  it means the one dedicated to the new upcoming young writers. The collection is distinguished by a more modern look and layout, accompanied by catchy graphics covers. I redesigned the collection from the concept to the micro-typographic choice.
