When Only Specimens Remain
According to a research report published by several American researchers in the Journal Science Advances, we are entering the 6th mass extinction era (of life on the Earth). Moreover, the possible causes for the imminent extinction include climate change, pollution, and damage of land vegetation. IPBES also pointed out in a report that the current extinction speed of species on the Earth is “at least dozens of times to hundreds of times faster than the average speed in the past 10 million years.” When humans disappear, will there be any more advanced creatures making man into specimen? Just like what we do to butterfly and rabbit?
