The autumn streets of Bangkok are steamy, wet and full of life. I walk down Sukhumvit Soi 11, past food stands, touts and shop owners with arms akimbo; tut-tut drivers are standing outside Seven-Eleven seeking their next fare. Carnival barkers with broken English stand outside massage parlors, restaurants and bars. Above the road, hundreds of wires help illuminate the street in defiance of the night.

The sweet smell of basil and lemongrass coming from the food stands mingle with the pungent sweetness of fumes rising from the grates in the street. Hip hop and house music play in the numerous clubs making the air tremble slightly.
A travel photographer’s dream.

A blogger’s playground.
