Brief: I was approached by local photographers First Photographics to create a series of personalised wrapping paper for Christmas. They needed five different designs, each targeted to a specific age range.
My process: I started out designing the wrapping paper which was targeted towards children. I created a series of sketches of different characters, I then communicated with the client on which design they liked best. From the sketches my designs were then recreated in illustrator. When it came to creating the actual wrapping paper, the client was very specific on how this needed to be set out. The paper was to be added on to their Fujifilm Kiosk in their studio where customers could select the paper they desired and amend the name for personalisation. This specific needs required me to create each wrapping paper design into a SVG file and to code the file so the software knew exactly which piece of text could be amended and where it was located within the file.
