The profession of a museum keeper is usually associated with the image of a granny sitting on a chair in the exhibition hall.
The chair itself is a rather ordinary and customary thing, the question is in its perception, interpretation. How is it connected with space and people interacting working in it?
The “chair” object displays the characteristics of the post-soviet institution, where the preserved features of the interior of the Soviet era dictate the rules for the exhibition as such.
In this statement, the artist through an ordinary object - a chair, talks about the missing element of museums of this type, meaning that museum staff are a part of the museum as much as its exhibits.
This is an attempt for museum documentation and reflection on objects, people and activities related to museums, and are they able or not to adapt to the new society model.
