Completed July 2018
11.5"x31"

In this subtractive drawing, I was originally planning to only draw the ribcage (the middle sheet). I wanted to practice a "freer" and messier style of drawing, so I made a charcoal layer and then used my eraser to take way parts until a ribcage formed, referencing a skeletal model. I added the top and bottom sheets to create a more complete image of the skeleton, allowing myself the freedom to explore this new technique.
