NITNL: Wind Kites

For Tumult in Gent #6 we (NITNL) worked with wind kites as a medium in contemporary communication. Nowadays kites have a purely recreational purpose, but they find their origin in China in a military context. Their initial purpose was to communicate hidden messages and military actions, but they also had the function to deceive and scare off.

Now Is The New Later (NITNL) is an artist collective consisting of 5 graphic designers and good friends who studied at LUCA School of Arts Ghent. Ruben Vandennieuwenborg, Eliah Weekers, Lauren Bouden, Thomas Van Herck and Alexander Deforce.
