Granite City Guided Walks is a fictional walking tour company based in Aberdeen The company allows tourists and holidaymakers to learn about the history and culture of the city on foot through their range of walking tours. As part of a mock brief I was tasked with creating a range of deliverables for this new business. A new logo and brand identity were required, along with business cards, a mock website, branded umbrellas and ponchos.
A foldable A4 map was also required that would show an illustrated walking route and information about the various locations. The client requested that the map display the company logo and contact information when closed, but open out into a unique fold. It was also specified that the map be designed to be kept as a souvenir by tourists to remember their experience with granite city guided walks.
