This magazine is my last project of 2019 and it was for my typography class. I learned a lot from this subject and for this magazine we had to compile some of the articles that we made during our writing class; With those articles, we had to play around with how we layout the content. I was inspired of the way The New Yorker covers were like as well as The Tokyoiter, so I wanted to make my own take for it that is the title is La Manileña (the manileña). As fpr the recurring theme in this magazine, I decided to pick the articles that voice out on some of the pressing issues in our society such as the things that involve our environment, identity, and human rights — hence #IAmVisible. Here are a few pages from the magazine that I like.
