[Vibrations Magazine is an annual student-run art publication created by the graphic design students at Everett Community College. In addition to showcasing the many forms of art produced and performed by EvCC students, the production of the magazine allows graphics students to gain experience working as a functional team and introduces them to a commercial print shop.]
The look and feel of the magazine each year is chosen by faculty and professional designers from concepts submitted by the graphic design students. This is my concept, which attempts to avoid cliches tied to the word "vibrations" by showing the "capture" of moments and the flow of ideas in the juxtaposition of structured content against the ink imagery and eventual student artwork.
