A mural done during my time at Spontivly. It was the first time I had ever done a mural before and enjoyed it very much. Here, I have included some images of the process, from working on it on Procreate to painting it onto the wall. I used a projector to place the image on the wall and from then on began to sketch to get all the components on there. I've learned a lot from just doing the one mural as it's allowed me to look into what works well for me and what I can try for next time (sketch lightly pretty much! My pencil was a higher HB so it was a bit darker on the wall). Painting was the most fun as it let me see the work come to life, especially when you step from a far and see the colours just pop out. This won't be my final mural, I have many plans and endeavours to do more in the future and am looking forward to doing them, especially lettering/typographic murals!
