Identity for Project 50/50

Final logo. Includes mulitple layouts for flexibility in a variety of design projects, plus solutions for 1, 2 color, and grayscale printing options.   2011
Preliminary designs.
Client originally wanted a design to show how they visit all 50 states, but opted to select a design emphasizing  how they give love. Initial designs were also to coordinate with the Insight Projects logo, but was later changed and only the color scheme links it to Insight Projects.

Also shows their new slogan.
Online, they had been using #sharethelove or #spreadthelove in their social networking. However, as these resemble the slogan for the car company Acura, a new phrase was needed. Since they meet so many in their travels, the slogan was modified to reflect that as well.
T-shirt design, 2 color full front.
For promotional needs, the client decided to use the US or "Track US" logo. This is the logo used on their website that lists an interactive map of their travels across the country so their online followers can keep track of their journey.
Bumper Sticker design, 3" x 12" wide.
Client asked for a design for promotional stickers to hand out during their travels.
2 and 1 color choices were provided to give client options for their budget.

About Project 50/50: Shay Kelley  founded Project 50/50 in 2010 after losing her job and becoming homeless. Saving up funds through a waitressing job and crashing with friends, she saved up funds to purchase a pick-up truck. With her faithful dog, ZuZu, she hatched a plan to travel to all 50 states and gather 50 tons of food in each to give to the needy. She's been on the road ever since, giving food, love, clothing, and whatever items she can to the homeless. In 2011, she was married and joined by her husband, Shane.  Their friend, Rob, and canine pal Indy, joined in a second truck. You can follow them on twitter and on their website.
