Il tessuto sociale è fatto di fibre e le fibre sono le persone, con un bagaglio culturale fatto di tradizioni, idiomi, gesti quotidiani. L'integrazione e l'interazione di questi elementi danno origine a una nuova trama, una storia fatta di storie. Tutti i popoli sono migratori, da tempi antichissimi, come molte specie animali: “casa” è il posto da cui partono, ma anche quello dove arriveranno dopo un lungo viaggio. Illustrazione realizzata per la mostra "Just humans" sul tema dell'integrazione, esposta al Museo Egizio di Torino (ottobre 2019/gennaio 2020), organizzata da Torino Graphic Days - In the city.
The "social fabric" is made of fibers, and these fibers are people. People with different cultural heritage, in which they have traditions, languages, daily gestures. The integration and the interaction between all these elements originate a new weave of a fabric, a new story made of stories. Every civilisation have been migrating for centuries, like migratory animals: "home" is the place where they come from, but also the one they'll reach, after a long journey.
