The purpose of this assignment was to do a recreation of our own choice based off of an object. I ended up choosing a balloon. And since I mainly am interested in illustration, I decided to go with character design. I wanted to be able to make a balloon girl. Not literally, but have her outfit inspired by a balloon. I drew out a sketch of what I had wanted at first.

For the design, I used some Faber Castell ink liners, a black Posca marker, a Black alcohol based marker, and a mint highlighter. I wanted to mess around with what I had around me. I was inspired to try a drawing method I had learned from the YouTube Drawingwiffwaffles. With that tutorial in mind, I was able to come up with this.

This was my first attempt at this method, and it may have taken long, but it was well worth it.
