Arabesque Table

This table has a long personal history for me. I made it out of wood with my late father (may he rest in peace) when I was around 11 years old. It was my first experience with woodworking, and it was a very long process. We hand drew the plan, planed the wood and hand-cut the pieces one by one before joining and sticking them together. And later creating an outer crust and varnishing it. We worked on it for a long time. It was meant to serve the purpose of a dining table along with chairs and all. A few days ago, I remembered this table and decided to re-make it as a 3D rendering out of memory with all its intricate details and beautiful Islamic patterns, as well as getting the material of each piece of wood accurate to the real table. I have not seen the real table in a long time, but the long time it took me to make it with my father made sure that its details are engraved in my memory forever.
Thank you father for teaching me the basics of everything I use in my work now, I hope that this reminiscent tribute makes you proud and that I keep remembering you the way I do every day.
