True-Life After-Death

True Life After Death
Board Game
This is a game of survival and trivia, be the first one to escape death. Take turns answering the true or false statements, answer correctly and you get a step closer to safety. Bet on others answers and earn extra steps, or loose some. Answer incorrectly and the Grim Reaper gets a step closer to you. True or false is a matter of Life and Death.
Setup
• 11 x 10 board
• True or False statement cards labeled “T or F”, placed to the left or right of the board.
• 4 player pieces.
• 1 Grim reaper piece.
• True or False player cards, each player gets two(one True, one False).
• Betting tokens, one for each player. Green bets a players answer is correct, red bets a player answer is incorrect.
• All players start in the designated starting space labeled on the board.
Gameplay
• Players take turns reading aloud the true or false statement to each other.
• Players answer the true or false with their true or false cards. Once selecting their answer, players must place their cards face down on the center of the board.
• Players can bet on other players answers, including their own with their betting tokens.
• Once everybody places their answers and bets, then everyone can turn their cards over.
• The player that reads the True or False Statement card aloud reveals whether the answer is true or false, then shows the card and places it face up under the deck of True or False statement cards.
How to Win
• Reach the Safety area/space labeled on the board first.
• Or be the last remaining player alive.
Rules
• 3-4 players
• Each players’s birthday establishes turn order and rotation(eldest to youngest).
• The eldest player reads aloud a Truth or Dare statement card first.
 • The player reading aloud always moves their piece one space.
• When answering and betting, players can’t change their card (answer) and token once its been placed on the board.
• Players can only move one space after answering correctly. Extra movement is determined by a player’s betting results.
• Players that answer incorrectly don’t move.
• The player reading aloud moves the Grim reaper piece after answers and bets are revealed.
• The Grim Reaper moves 2 spaces for every false answer. (ex. if 2 players answered false, the Grim Reaper moves 4 spaces.)
• If the grim Reaper lands on the same space as you, then you loose.
Betting
Try not to reveal your answer, others can gain an advantage off of your success, even failure. Don’t let your opponents read you.
• Winning a bet allows you to move 1 space forward. Loose a bet and its 1 space backwards.
• Players can bet on or against another player’s answer after the T or F card is read.
• Players have the option to answer and bet or just place a bet, or not bet at all.
• The player reading the T or F card is allowed to bet on or against another players card as well.
• So if a player answers and bets correctly, they move 2 spaces forward. Get both wrong and it’s 1 space back. Answer correctly, but loose a bet and you remain in the same spot (move 1, then back 1).
