Within the project brief I was asked to create illustrations that would coincide with a written article. The editorial piece was found information from the BBC, it was an article titled 'How Stella Maccartney Changed The Way You Dress' I felt it was important to look at some of the main things she showcases as a designer, this included bold sleeves, big shoes, and a woman that shows a sense of style.
I used Photoshop to create the illustrations, I then used Indesign to lay the imagery and type.
Final drafts, showing the final colour palette I chose to go with, limited to three specifics. I felt that this was fun and colourful but still had clean and stylish lines.
The finished product, including text. I used Bodoni 72 as that is quite a common typeface used in high fashion magazines - I felt it lent itself well to the illustrations and the context of the information.
