Concrete became center of modern living years ago.

Concrete buildings contain our livings.

The concrete was poured, and the impression of wood grain texture was made in the cast concrete surface at the process of board formed concrete casting. This rough wood texture, an evidence of making process, was usually removed by sanding, or covered by tiles in buildings.

This project aims to look at the interesting contrast between natural texture and industrial material in smaller scale, at the scale which concrete contains our daily objects. And explore the inner beauty of materiality of concrete and wood grain texture.
