The First Four Movies in Marvel’s Phase 4

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a host of new movies coming in its highly publicized Phase 4. Here are the first four:

- Black Widow. Scheduled for release on May 1, 2020, this film is a prequel about the Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, which tells her story before the events of Avengers: Endgame.

- Eternals. Scheduled for release on November 6, 2020, and directed by Chloe Zhao, this film will bring the comic book fan favorites to the big screen for the first time. The Eternals are a race of immortal aliens working to save humanity from their arch enemies, the Deviants.

- Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Scheduled for release on February 21, 2021, this film will be Marvel’s first kung fu movie and the first Asian-led superhero movie. The story will introduce Shang-Chi, a master martial arts hero played by Simu Liu, who will be going against the titular evil organization.

- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. To be released on May 7, 2021, this film is the sequel to the previously released Doctor Strange.
