UI concept for NDTV Android Mobile App. This concept includes many new features that are not currently in the present Android NDTV app.
Fresh and New splash screen with Minimal and Flat UI Design
New Side Navigation Bar to easily access various sections in the News app. Also a new link to the profile is added. Each one is given an NDTV profile. They can Login using Google, Facebook, Twitter or create an NDTV account.
The News are presented in a beautiful way in the form of cards. The Unread news are marked with a 'Red Cirlce' and each card contains the image, the news title and the time. Also the sections are clearly highlighted below the NDTV Status bar and the points gained by each news reader is calculated and shown in the top right corner. The NDTV status bar also gives a live feed of cricket news, Market Details.
NDTV supports Full screen mode with Swipe features to read news continously. The tool bar present in the bottom can be fixed or can be made to appear when tapped on the screen. It can be used to share, comment, favourite a news feed, adjust text size, move to next news or move to previous news.
The new Profile page for each user to know how well they use the app and how they are rated. Their area of interest is also portrayed using a graph. Also the average news read and shares per day are also displayed. The User always likes to see such things and this will motivate the user to read more, if rewards and prizes are given to people who has higher points. Also having a profile can be used to subscribe to world-class news for a monthly or yearly prize. Overall the new feature of the app can be able to monetize the app very much.
