This project was an experimentation of applying heat and steam to create tension on wood and its behavior. Upon testing on several thicknesses and types of wood; The Doblado Fruit Bowl is made out of bent plywood by applying it under a steam stream. The sections are designed to fold on each other, increasing usability and storage.
