Studio Modha Branding

Studio Modha Project Intro 
Studio Modha are a London based Interior Design company. They approached us in search of a brand identity for their business launch.

Studio Modha had a vision of being uniquely different to the more common branding appearance of interior design companies. 

Our initial discovery session allowed us to explore and understand Studio Modha's brand personality, exploring into their story, diving into their mission, messaging, market positioning and in particular the clientele and audience Studio Modha were targeting.

We then went through any pre-ideas for identity design or preferences for design, colours, fonts, messaging and or art. We don't usually go into too much depth as most clients would want us to provide them with the options. However on this occasion Studio Modha's team had some ideas with how they wanted their brand identity to appear which matched their vision of being between the medium to high end option within the interior designers spectrum. 

They also wanted their brand mark to be focused around a typographic style as opposed to having an abstract mark or emblem. After going through this we summarised the vision for the brand identity with three strong and clear words. Sleek, Fitting and Quality.

This discovery session allowed us to form a clear strategy to guide the design of the brand identity confidently and correctly.

At the fourth revision round, Studio Modha we're quite lured into the design below. It still kept that neat minimal and contemporary style they wanted without having to have anything too bold included. The stencil look of "STUDIO" was also very relevant to interior designs referring to the drawings. The central element of "STUDIO" removed to make space for "MODHA" is also a representation of anatomy of interior design.

Below you will see the final design that fits the glass shoe. It achieved the sleek and contemporary brand requirement Studio Modha were in search of. The design was able to fit in uniquely with the contemporary interior design industry and to represent Studio Modha's premium work quality.

We also used this as one of our featured projects so we created a stylescape, which is shown broken down below but also shown as a whole at the top of this project post.
As a team at 9 Designs we were very happy with the outcome of this project in particular. The visual identity created was one of the most perfectly fitting and thought out projects we have completed to date. 

More so, Studio Modha we're really pleased with the work and thought out process carried out by us and really proud of their new brand identity.
