“Provincial Masterpiece” wants to show how some famous masterpieces of important Architects could be if located in a more "commonplace" and managed by an "ordinary" person. These well-known buildings of the 20th century are today distorted by their natural habitat, estranged from their native function, and placed as background of daily life and daily work. The add of a new garage for the car, the design of an enclosure for the house area, a little garden pool are some of the elements that characterize the new idea of these buildings, in order to give a more "common" feeling. the atmosphere of these views tries to be extremely natural, so that the observer becomes visually accustomed to objects, vehicles, additions on buildings, and fully enters the new role of the masterpieces. only very few buildings in the world are lucky to remain intact and unaffected by man over the centuries; all others change, alter appearance, adapt to needs, and present themselves to us as the sum of all these changes. What would these famous buildings look like if they were unrelated to the world of architecture, to their history and connected to a more common story?
