The American dream used to be to have a beautiful home and a nice affordable car to drive and be financially close to the middle class as possible. Nowadays it’s not that easy to have those luxuries, especially after one year ends and the next begins. Taxes and other necessary monthly costs for gas, electric, and or food prices seem to go up,also not to mention, back in the day, cell phones didn’t cost a fortune and set everyone back financially. In these times people need a miracle JOB to be financially secure.
People have to be aware that these types of changes in technology and taxes are going to keep happening, and bill prices are going to keep going up. This brings up the topic of what is the American dream of the 21st century, and that’s not hard to figure out what is it by watching prices go up every year, and minimum wage or just above the minimum wage earners having a hard time staying in the middle class financially.
