giant SMDC knows all too well.
Ever since then, it’s been a constant battle for the town’s local residents for their right
to the land they were born and raised in, and to the livelihood that sustains them.
For many it’s only a question of where to move and a new source of income. But there
are those whose lives are so intertwined with the village and fishing, since this is all
they’ve ever known, that moving somewhere else is out of the question.
